This design was inspired by Mustang "GA-S" (Serial KH774) that flew with 112 Squadron, 239 Wing, Royal Air Force, known as the “Shark Squadron”. This particular aircraft was based at Cervia, Italy, during early 1945, operating along the Adriatic coast of Italy doing fighter-bomber duties.  112 Squadron remained in Italy after the war had ended to perform occupation duties and were disbanded at Treviso on December 30th, 1946.
